How to share your affiliate link

What actually works — and what doesn't — when promoting ApexMentum to peer clinics.

How to share your affiliate link

Your link is apexmentum.com/r/yourname. Where you put it determines whether it converts.

The high-conversion channels

1. One-on-one peer recommendations

The single highest-converting use of your link is to send it to a specific clinic owner you know — preferably one who's complained about their current EHR. A short note like:

Hey — saw your IG post about [PM software pain]. Have you looked at ApexMentum? I switched 4 months ago and it's been night-and-day for AI handouts and the patient portal. Here's my link if you want to check it out: apexmentum.com/r/yourname. Happy to chat through what it's like to actually run.

Most affiliates get their first 2–3 referrals this way.

2. Niche communities

If you're active in a peer Slack, Facebook group, or forum for integrative practitioners:

  • Don't drop your link cold — it'll feel spammy and the mods will hate you.
  • Wait for the inevitable "what software do you use?" thread, then jump in with a real answer and your link.
  • Mention you're an affiliate. People respect the disclosure.

3. Your email signature

Add a line to your email signature:

I help clinics modernize their practice management — ask me about ApexMentum: apexmentum.com/r/yourname (affiliate)

Every email you send to a peer is a soft pitch.

4. Newsletter / podcast / blog

If you publish content for other practitioners:

  • Mention ApexMentum in a "tools I use" post or episode.
  • Link to your affiliate link.
  • Disclose the relationship.

This compounds. Newsletter mentions tend to drive referrals weeks or months after the original send.

5. Speaking and conferences

If you speak at integrative medicine conferences:

  • Mention ApexMentum from stage when relevant ("I run my clinic on ApexMentum, happy to chat after").
  • Drop your affiliate link on your speaker page.
  • Include it on any handout you give attendees.

What doesn't work

  • Spam DMs. Cold messaging strangers with your link will get you blocked and may get your affiliate status revoked.
  • Paid Google Ads on ApexMentum brand terms. Not allowed under the program terms.
  • Pretending you're with ApexMentum. Don't.
  • Posting in groups where you're not a regular member. The community sniffs this out.

Track what's working

Your affiliate dashboard at 🤝 Affiliate Program shows:

  • Total clicks (coming soon — for now, you see referrals that converted)
  • Active referrals
  • Commission per referral

If a particular channel keeps converting, double down. If something isn't working, try a different angle.

Talking points that resonate

When you're explaining ApexMentum to a peer, lead with what actually saved you time, not the feature list:

  • "AI handouts went from a 30-minute writing task to one click."
  • "Voice notes mean I'm done charting at the end of each visit, not the end of each day."
  • "The patient portal is what mine should have looked like 10 years ago."
  • "Stripe Connect means I don't deal with payments anymore — they just land in my bank."

People buy outcomes, not features.
