Affiliate program overview
The ApexMentum affiliate program is how we say thank you to clinics that bring us new clinics. Refer a peer practice, they sign up, and you get 15% of their monthly subscription for up to 12 months — automatically, every month they're paying us.

The math
Most clinics land on the Pro plan at $5,500 per month.
- 15% × $5,500 = $825 per referral, per month
- Over 12 months, one referral is worth $9,900 to you
- Five active referrals at $825 each = $4,125 per month in residual income
- Ten active referrals = $8,250 per month
Refer two clinics in a year and you're covering your own ApexMentum subscription several times over.
How it works step-by-step

Enable your affiliate link. Go to 🤝 Affiliate Program in the sidebar and click Enable my affiliate link. We generate a custom URL for you like
apexmentum.com/r/yourname. -
Share the link. Post it on social, drop it in a peer Slack, include it in a newsletter, add it to your email signature. See How to share your link for ideas that actually work.

A peer clinic clicks. When someone clicks your link, we drop a cookie that links them to you for the next 90 days.

They sign up. When they fill out the signup form on apexmentum.com (any time in that 90-day window), we record the referral.

They get approved and start paying. Once their subscription is active, every monthly Stripe charge generates a commission row for you — 15% of what they paid.

You see your earnings. Open 🤝 Affiliate Program any time to see your monthly earnings, active referrals, and pending payout.
What counts and what doesn't
Counts toward commission:
- The referred clinic's base monthly ApexMentum subscription (Starter, Pro, or Enterprise)
Doesn't count:
- The 2.9% platform fee on the referred clinic's patient payments (that's revenue from their patients, not from them paying us)
- One-time setup or migration fees
- Add-on charges outside the subscription
When commission stops
The 12-month cap is per referral. After 12 months, that referral stops generating new commission, but you keep everything you earned. If the clinic cancels or pauses earlier than that, commission stops immediately.
Who can join
Any clinic admin or superadmin on a paying ApexMentum subscription. The program is closed to outside marketers and non-customers — we want our partners to be people who actually use the product.
Tier bonuses (coming soon)
We're working on a tier program: 10+ active referrals will unlock a 20% commission rate going forward. It's not live yet — when it ships, the increased rate will apply automatically to your existing referrals.
