Recording your first conversation
30-second version
- Open OneAudio in the sidebar.
- Pick your interaction type (Provider consult, Treatment/financial, MA, Front desk, Phone call, Checkout).
- Click the red Record button. Allow microphone access if the browser asks.
- Talk normally.
- Click Stop when done.
That's it. OneAudio takes over from there: transcription, title, six-output Voice Package, and rubric score all happen automatically.
What you'll see after Stop
- A saved recording card appears in your recent list with a placeholder title.
- Within ~30 seconds: title auto-fills based on what was actually said in the recording.
- Within ~2–5 minutes: full transcript is available.
- Within ~5–15 minutes: all six Voice Package outputs are generated and scoring appears on the Coaching tab.
Tips
- Pick the right interaction type. The rubric changes based on whether this is a provider consult vs. a checkout conversation. Wrong type = less useful scoring.
- Don't worry about "clean" audio. Room noise, side conversations, coughs — the transcription handles all of it.
- You can keep recording without navigating away. Chunks stream to storage as you go, so a browser crash mid-recording is recoverable from the Recovery page.
When something goes wrong
- "Microphone permission denied" — click the padlock icon in the browser address bar and allow the mic for this site, then refresh.
- "Upload stuck" — leave the tab open; the retry queue reconnects automatically. Check /oneaudio/recovery for anything that never finished.
- Recording won't stop — click Stop again; if unresponsive, refresh (your recording is already saved locally in IndexedDB via the safety net).
